Counselling

What is Counselling?

Counselling provides a safe secure place, separate from your everyday life, where you can talk about issues or feelings that are causing you difficulty.

Sometimes you may need extra support if you are finding it difficult to deal with or understand your emotions. Your Counsellor will listen to you and allow you the space to explore what is going on for you. They will help you to recognise your strengths and help you to cope better with your emotions and feelings.

Counselling is not about making decisions for you, but empowering you to develop a more positive outlook on life and building on your own coping strategies.

Eye to Eye is an organisational member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, Youth Access, The Wales Council for Voluntary Organisations, Interlink and organisations in Rhondda Cynon Taff. Our counsellors follow Eye to Eye procedures and are supervised by qualified counselling/supervision staff.
